about 1950 Rabofsky launches the R12, the first cam-driven knife pleating machine. Thus, the productivity of filter elements for the automotive industry can be increased considerably.  
1986 Rabofsky is the first vendor of the world manufacturing an electronic textile pleating machine. By using this machine, for the first time different kinds of flat pleats can be produced in one sequence of operation.  
1996 Rabofsky launches the R178PC, the first electronic knife pleating machine of the world. Thus, many restrictions concerning the geometry of filter elements are eliminated. New geometries like semi-circular filters are easy producible for every owner of a R178PC due to its programmability. worldwide novelty: electronic softtouch!
1999 Rabofsky launches a second type of electronic knife pleating machine, filling the “functional gap” between mechanical cam-driven and electronic knife pleating machines.  
2001 Rabofsky introduces the first electronic knife pleating machine of the world having a working width of more than 3,000 mm. This offers perspectives for new applications especially in the air bag and textile industry. current world record concerning the working width!
2003 Rabofsky launches a third electronic knife pleating machine designed for high speed applications. This machine hits as the first of the world the sonic barrier of 300 pleats per minute. Furthermore, this machine allows for pleat heights up to 153 mm (6’’). current world record of speed!
2005 Rabofsky manufactures the Pleatmaster, the first universal electronic machine of the world: Three different heavy duty packages for extreme wire mesh applications, a working width up to 3,200 mm and a top speed of 200 pleats per minute. worldwide novelty: The first pleating machine with integrated clearance of pleats!
